The end of February is upon us!

How quickly time is flying by! Steve and I saw robins the other day, on the way home from a Vermont trip! It amazes me that nature "knows" sooner than we, that the season is changing once again!
Spring is not far, and new buds will be on the trees soon. As I look out the window, as I write this, there is still a beautiful white blanket on the ground. It covers the new grasses that will be growing in just a few months!

Visited the City! I Love NEW YORK!!!!

Silence speaks loudly...

If you listen, the silence speaks more loudly than any words spoken.

Emotions that tear your gut, cannot be explained away with words.

Yes, we miss our grandchild, but no words will heal the pain of not seeing him grow up.

Silence is the only language I have at the moment. I speak with silence...

Silence speaks loudly, just listen...

So, tell me... What is it worth? Art! ...

It is worth, what you believe it is worth!

When parents steps back...

Watching your children grow:

The most difficult part is stepping back, and allowing mistakes to happen, so they are able to learn from experiences.

The most difficult part is knowing they have to figure life out on their own, to become stronger.

The most difficult part is realizing that they must make the mistakes, in order to grow, and become the best they can become.

The most difficult part is knowing they don't know they are already the best.

The most rewarding part is knowing them.

New Leaves...

Yes, it is only February, and here we are in the bitter cold of winter,(at least here in the Northeast)...

There is new life within the trees, preparing for spring! I am anticipating the new yellow-greens, the tiny buds that will become the new wardrobe of Spring!

Meanwhile, are we all preparing for Spring also? Do you have your gardens planned, your life garden?

Do you have old weeds that will need tending, so to make room for new growth?

I am getting out my hoe! I have weeds, and they need to be pulled, and recycled into the earth...
I have new seeds to sow... and they will be flourishing throughout the coming year, if I begin to prepare!
